The Prose Paradox: Technology’s struggle to tame the wild world of contracts

This CLE attempts to diagnose and explain the problems that have plagued the “K Tech” experience, why Gartner says over 50% of CLMs will have been declared a failure by the end of this calendar year and why only 11% of ACC survey respondents report a benefit from contracts technology. Only once we understand why contracts technology isn’t working today, can we know what’s required to make it work in the future.

  1. The state of contracts management today
  2. The “Prose Problem” and the conundrum of contract families
  3. The Way Forward
